D and D Refactored - Sheila The Thief

If the gang from the D&D cartoon were more like your standard D&D characters, there would be a few differences.  Some would be major, requiring a couple characters to change classes.  Others, like Sheila, only require a bit more equipment than they had.

Sheila still has that spectacular cloak that not only makes her invisible, but at times she's even intangible.  Like most of the gang's special items, it is not your standard magical item but almost like an artifact. The only difference would be that she wouldn't need to activate it's power by putting the hood up, nor does it automatically activate when she does put it up.  It activates by willing it to do so.

As for why DM gave her the cloak:  As I see it, he gave the gang items that reflected their personalities and skills they already possessed.  Sheila is, of course, not a thief on Earth, but she does possess some fairly nimble and dexterous hands.  In the little D&D group the gang had back on earth, Sheila's talented fingers are mostly used to paint minatures.  She's also a fairly good rockclimber. As to her personality traits, Sheila is a bit wallflower at parties, practically invisible.  And so, she got the cloak.

Some of Sheila's new gear are: an elven blade, some boots of elvenkind, Gaunlets of Dexterity, a set of lock picks, and some previously undiscovered skills in picking locks, finding and disarming traps, and the ability to move silently.
